Summary
Yoo Haekyeong has been hopelessly in love with Seo Kwonyeong since they were children. But their relationship is deeply one-sided. Kwonyeong is emotionally abusive — using Haekyeong’s feelings to keep him close, but never reciprocating his love. He treats Haekyeong like a possession: to be used, but never cherished. Despite being constantly mistreated, Haekyeong continues to stay near Kwonyeong, clinging to the hope that his love might one day be returned. This toxic attachment leaves him emotionally drained, yet still dependent. Everything begins to shift when Haekyeong meets Seo Kwonlim, Kwonyeong’s older brother. Unlike his younger sibling, Kwonlim is warm, thoughtful, and respectful. He sees Haekyeong not as a toy or servant, but as a person worthy of love and care. As the story progresses, Kwonlim begins to show interest in Haekyeong, and their connection gradually deepens. But Kwonyeong, possessive and jealous, won’t let go so easily. He becomes increasingly controlling, stirring conflict and emotional tension between all three.
