Summary
If you loved ones were in danger, how far would you go to save them? With his grandfather on the verge of death, Taesun works many jobs to cover an apparently never-ending pile of medical costs. He climbs the massive mountain Geumryang, which is unknowingly the residence of a serpentine spirit of the same name, as part of one of his odd jobs. Taesun is near death and in need of water in his crawling form when he meets the celestial entity. Taesun saves the holy snake from certain death and gives him a sip of water. Later that evening, Taesun is embraced by a lifeless body that offers him a deal: if he bears the ancient creature’s seed, his grandfather will survive. But is all really as it seems? After all, can one ever truly trust the forked tongue of a serpent…?
