Summary
In a modern omegaverse society, Han Je-hee, an Omega, falls deeply for his high school teacher, Song Soo-hyun. Je-hee is obsessed—his feelings go beyond a typical crush, bordering on fixation. Soo-hyun, however, is a Beta and maintains a distant, professional boundary, especially as Je-hee begins to cross lines.
After years apart, they meet again when Je-hee enters college. Soo-hyun is now a rising star in academia, calm and confident—but Je-hee’s obsession hasn’t faded. In fact, it intensifies.
As the story unfolds, Je-hee’s emotional instability and Soo-hyun’s guarded personality lead to a toxic, complicated relationship. Their interactions challenge omegaverse tropes: Betas are usually seen as neutral, but Soo-hyun is in control, while Je-hee, the Omega, struggles with abandonment, identity, and unrequited desire.
