Summary
Galeocerdo, a tiger shark beastman, falls head-over-fins for a rabbit statue and becomes obsessed with the idea of marrying a rabbit.
Miraculously, he finds Virdo, a white rabbit (or so he thinks), sinking in the ocean. Galeocerdo immediately declares Virdo his bride.
Virdo insists he’s not a rabbit but a snail—and even claims to be a hermaphrodite, not a female. Galeocerdo, however, is completely unfazed and continues to pursue him romantically. The story unfolds with humorous misunderstandings, identity confusion, and a clash of personalities as Virdo tries to escape his self-proclaimed fiancé.
