Summary
The story begins with the reunion of two childhood friends, Naru and Kyoya, who work at the same company. Naru has had a crush on Kyoya for many years, and one day, another colleague confesses his love to her. When she tells Kyoya about it, he simply says, “Why don’t you go out with me?”, to Naru’s shock. After that, Naru gets drunk and is taken to Kyoya’s house, where Kyoya’s suppressed emotions explode, and he takes action against the sleeping Naru… This work depicts strong emotional fluctuations, such as the frustration of unrequited love and impulsive actions born of jealousy, and has been met with mixed reviews from readers.
By coincidence, Naru and Kyoya, who were childhood friends, reunite after working for the same firm. The two reestablish their friendship, but Naru worries since she is unable to tell Kyoya that she loves her. After work one day, the two go out to drink. Although Kyoya doesn’t seem to care at all, Naru informs her that a colleague unexpectedly confessed to her. She is brought to Kyoya’s place after drinking too much to forget the shock. “Any other man… I can’t forgive that…” “I don’t want to be taken by that man…” Despite having affections for Naru, Kyoya plays with Naru’s unconscious body out of jealousy.
