Summary
Pilsang, a tough and scrappy loan shark, never expected his life to get tangled up with the elite world of corporate power. But after being forced to take an experimental drug called Sianacin, the side effects become unbearable—and the only person who can manage his condition is the aloof and mysterious Jooeon, a wealthy chaebol heir.
Pilsang is reluctantly moved into Jooeon’s luxurious home under the guise of “treatment.” But what starts as an awkward, business-like arrangement turns increasingly personal. Jooeon acts distant and cold—yet insists on monitoring Pilsang constantly, hovering over him with an intensity that borders on obsession.
When Pilsang jokes, “Do you like me or something?”, Jooeon laughs it off… but never denies it. As days pass, Pilsang finds himself unsettled by Jooeon’s growing affection—and by his own unexpected responses. Tension builds between them: physical, emotional, and psychological. In a world where money rules and trust is rare, their relationship walks the line between coercion and consent, survival and sincerity, cold detachment and passionate need.
