Summary
Elliot Brown was originally a supporting villain character—and a writer—within a dark BL novel. In the real world, Lim Sung-sik, known as the “Employee of the Month” for his many jobs, becomes possessed by Elliot’s consciousness.
To avoid playing the role that triggers the story’s tragic ending (where all characters meet their demise), Elliot chooses to keep his past hidden and live quietly. But fate intervenes when he is compelled to serve as a bed (or room) attendant for Grand Duke Arjen—an arrangement motivated partly by Elliot’s need to care for his cat.
The twist: the novel’s original “bottom” discovers Elliot’s secret and manipulates him into ghostwriting love letters to Arjen—the very letters that set off the tragic events in the original story.
And to top it all off, Arjen doesn’t act as Elliot remembered—prompting the question: Can Elliot rewrite his fate and avoid another tragedy?
